Secretariat holds a Planning and Sharing Meeting on December 15, 2025

On 15 December 2025, the Secretariat of the 3rd Coastal Water Convention – 2026 convened a planning and sharing meeting at the AOSED Office, Khulna, chaired by Rafiqul Islam Khokan (Co-Chair, 3rd Coastal Water Convention – 2026 and Executive Director, Rupantar). The meeting brought together Khulna-based partner organizations to reinforce coordination and ensure smooth preparation ahead of the Convention.

Discussions focused on strengthening collaboration around key preparatory areas, including communication and visibility materials, participant registration arrangements, procurement and operational coordination, programming inputs and thematic engagement, and budget-related planning. Participants also shared updates on ongoing preparations and outlined immediate next steps for collective action, emphasizing timely coordination and information sharing among partners.

Overall, the meeting reaffirmed a joint commitment to deliver an inclusive, well-organized Convention in Khulna, with coordinated support from the Secretariat and partner organizations across planning, logistics, and outreach.
