District-Level Consultation Workshop Held in Khulna for the 3rd Coastal Water Convention 2026

A district-level preparatory consultation workshop was held on 11 December 2025 at Hotel Western Inn, Khulna, as part of the early activities for the 3rd Coastal Water Convention 2026.

A total of 35 participants—including government officials, civil society members, development partners, researchers, activists, and community groups—joined the event. To make the discussion more interactive, participants were divided into three groups, each focusing on one thematic area: Water and WASH, Water and Ecology, and Water-Dependent Livelihoods.

Each group discussed the key challenges faced by coastal communities and shared practical insights from the field. They later presented their findings and priority issues through short group presentations.

The ideas, recommendations, and collective reflections from this workshop will help shape the agenda and strengthen the outcomes of the 3rd Coastal Water Convention.
